As the latest chapter in the company's mission to drive growth for clients through the application of composable technologies to support personalization, agility and scale, Wunderman Thompson joined the MACH Alliance in December 2022.

The Alliance is a natural home for Wunderman Thompson, as the agency has long championed agile ways of working, automation and composable thinking. They have seen clients request MACH architectures to meet consumer demands, enable agility, decouple components, provide security and scalability, and explore new engagement channels.

This heritage within technology has yielded notable innovations for Wunderman Thompson.

This includes a multi-tenant SaaS e-commerce platform based entirely on MACH principles, covering everything from digital marketing and the website front-end through to fulfilment and returns.

Elsewhere, Wunderman Thompson has developed a methodology and the related tooling to transform a customer experience Design System into a set of common front-end components for Single Page Applications.

This accelerates automation and protects brand consistency by ensuring the design is driven by those who know it best.

Lastly, based on the recognition that social media platforms are experimenting with in-platform purchasing, Wunderman Thompson has developed a SaaS Social Commerce Connector which allows brands and retailers to take advantage of this emerging channel.

The connector is fully cloud-native, massively scalable, and is designed to work with any e-commerce or OMS backend.
